Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Tester to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing mainframe applications, identifying and reporting defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of mainframe applications
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize test cases
  • Develop and maintain test scripts using automation tools such as JCL, COBOL, SQL
  • Identify and report defects to development teams
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely updates

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mainframe testing, including JCL, COBOL, and SQL
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, Selenium, and Cucumber
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
