Training Manager Job Description

Job Title: Training Manager

Department: Sales and Learning

Position Grade Range: Eligibility and Evaluation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training needs analysis for the sales team in collaboration with business heads.
  • Identify skill and competency gaps and recommend appropriate training interventions.
  • Create annual training plans and calendars for the sales force as per organizational goals.
  • Develop and deliver training modules on various topics to support new hire onboarding, induction, and orientation sessions.
  • Update training materials regularly to reflect market developments, regulatory changes, and product innovations.
  • Organize investor awareness programs in accordance with SEBI norms to promote financial literacy and product understanding.
  • Assist in non-training initiatives such as new product launches, market updates, and regulatory change communications.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with business and compliance requirements.

  • A winning mindset and learning attitude.
  • Educational background: Graduate/Postgraduate or Full-time MBA.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience. Prior experience in training is not mandatory; individuals with experience in sales and good understanding of the mutual funds industry can apply.
  • NISM VA certification (can be obtained before joining).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, willingness to travel and work on field.
  • Relevant training and TTT certification would be an added advantage.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of market news and mutual fund industry trends.
