As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our cloud deployments, systems, and services.

This position requires a strong background in server and cloud administration, with up to 7 years of experience in managing complex infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Deployment and Management: Implement, manage, and support cloud deployments, systems, and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.
  • Infrastructure Management: Manage the client's Azure infrastructure spanning multiple data centers, focusing on performance, availability, and stability.
  • Automation and DevOps: Work closely with automation tools and processes such as Azure Dev/Ops, continuous integration, and automation of infrastructure components.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional development/analytics teams to deploy and operate our systems and help automate and streamline our IT operations processes.

Requirements:

  • Education: Computer Science / Information Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Post-Secondary Education: Post-secondary education obtained by a community college or one or more professional designations.
  • Experience: Up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration.
  • Industry Knowledge: Industry knowledge of best practices in automation and DevOps is a must-have.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred) and VMWare Virtualization Certification are assets.
  • Programming Language Experience: Programming language experience is nice to have.
