Cloud Security Specialist

The primary responsibility of a Cloud Security Specialist is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments of cloud infrastructure and applications to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud security tools and technologies to enhance security posture.
  • Provide expert guidance on cloud security best practices and incident response procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cloud security consulting or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing cloud security solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Certifications in cloud security (e.g. AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
