Cloud Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Security Specialist to design, implement, and secure cloud environments.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement security controls for cloud infrastructure.
  • Understand network, firewall, database, perimeter security, and endpoint security.
  • Manage infrastructure security across clusters, applications, and networking layers.
  • Integrate security best practices into development activities.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents in cloud environments.
  • Have a holistic understanding of cloud security components and their integration with other systems within the development ecosystem.
  • Relevant security understanding for on-prem and hybrid cloud management.
  • Gather security requirements from the development team and implement respective cybersecurity solutions into the cloud environment.
  • Maintain security measures to protect cloud environments from cyber threats, unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security risks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in securing cloud infrastructure and applications.
  • Hands-on experience with development tools and security practices.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP).
  • Experience with container security tools and vulnerability scanning.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, AWS, Azure).
  • Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Secure Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and related workloads.
  • Knowledge of Terraform and Sentinel for policy enforcement.
