Financial Operations Manager

About This Role
\Elevate is seeking a skilled Accounting Professional to oversee end-to-end accounting operations for multiple client accounts. In this role, you will drive operational excellence, client satisfaction, and process efficiency through effective financial reporting, account management, and strategic planning.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- Manage accounting operations across multiple clients, including AP, AR, journal entries, and payroll journals.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements, in accordance with GAAP or relevant local standards.
- Monitor and report on aging of AR and AP ledgers to optimize working capital and support collections and payments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll processing, AP/AR management, and tax filings.
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, proactive updates, and timely resolution of queries.
- Identify and implement automation improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability in accounting operations.
- Support audit processes by coordinating with auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
Requirements:
\- Professional accounting certifications, such as CA or CPA, are highly preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in outsourced accounting roles.
- Solid understanding of US GAAP accounting standards and methodologies.
- Working knowledge of accounting software, such as QBO or Xero.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
