Senior Regulatory Strategist

This critical role shapes Airtel's regulatory strategy, requiring creativity, analytical rigor, and deep understanding of regulatory frameworks.

The Senior Regulatory Strategist will act as both strategic analyst and execution partner to the Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO), framing policy narratives, managing external engagement, and guiding internal stakeholders on regulatory implications affecting Airtel's diverse businesses.

  • Develop and articulate policy positions across telecom, broadcasting, financial services, entertainment, and digital ecosystems.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze competition, market, and regulatory trends, providing strategic updates to support policy advocacy.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, regulatory submissions, and communication strategies to influence key stakeholders.
  • Standardize reporting mechanisms to track regulatory engagements and advocacy outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within the Regulatory team and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business goals with evolving regulatory priorities.
  • Support the CRO in prioritization, resource planning, and coordination of high-impact projects across multiple business lines.
