Cloud Engineer Opportunity

This is a challenging role that requires the design, deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.

  • We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team and work on designing, implementing and maintaining backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and monitoring automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration and maintenance of cloud and on-prem resources.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing and managing AWS cloud solutions.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures, including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
  • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation and CloudWatch.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools (e.g., ECS, EKS) is a plus.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible or CloudFormation.
  • Proven hands-on experience supporting Okta SSO Platform.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS and routing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, deploying and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Developing and monitoring automation scripts and tools.
  • Maintaining backup, high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Working with DevOps and development teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines.
