Role: Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Support Specialist with hands-on experience in supporting cloud-hosted applications, particularly on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in monitoring tools like DataDog and a proactive approach to incident resolution and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for applications hosted on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Monitor application health using DataDog and other observability tools; respond to alerts and anomalies.
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in application support or production support roles.
  • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, CloudWatch, RDS).
  • Proficient in DataDog for monitoring, alerting, and dashboard creation.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux commands.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certification is beneficial.
