Bakery Production & Quality Control Specialist

Produce consistent and high-quality baked goods according to rigorous standards, adhering to precise production plans and mise-en-place requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Handle hot or hazardous baking items with utmost care, adhering to strict safety protocols.

Inventory Management:

  • Manage daily inventory levels and assist in stock reporting, guaranteeing accurate and timely tracking of bakery products.
  • Package, store, and label bakery products accurately, maintaining pristine product presentation and quality control.

Workplace Cleanliness & Safety:

  • Maintain an immaculate and sanitized bakery workspace at all times, upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.
  • Strictly adhere to established food safety and hygiene protocols, preventing contamination and ensuring a safe working environment.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

  • Attend and contribute meaningfully to daily production meetings, fostering open communication and collaborative team dynamics.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions with precision, demonstrating a strong ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma in Bakery (mandatory).
  • Training: Industrial training required; on-the-job bakery training preferred.
  • Experience: 1.1 to 2.5 years of hands-on bakery experience.
  • Firm understanding of Metric and Imperial systems of measurement.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
  • Comfortable working in hot and humid kitchen environments.
  • Intermediate knowledge of bakery operations and mise-en-place techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
