Job Title: Finance Manager

At noon, we're on a mission to revolutionize the e-commerce landscape in the Middle East. As a Finance Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving our financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance AR profile to optimize receivables, loyalty, and wallet processes, ensuring timely collections and maintaining a DSO of less than 2 days.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting, GL balance reviews, and financial controls.
  • Develop and circulate reports to management highlighting key KPIs and risk areas.
  • Liaise with banks and BNPL partners to resolve payment gateway and collection issues.
  • Work with the product team to identify and solve wallet and online payment-related concerns.
  • Settle and recover wallet transactions, manage intercompany balances, and ensure timely refunds to customers.
  • Drive process improvements and efficiency in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure accounting and reconciliation of goods in transit, customer-initiated returns, and manage recoveries from the supply chain.
  • Optimize payment gateway fees and traffic allocation to reduce overall payment costs.
  • Support the Group Finance team in closing internal and statutory audits, and provide timely data support and query resolutions.
Requirements:
  • CA/ACCA/master's degree or MBA in Finance, with 6-10 years of professional experience.
  • Sound knowledge in audit, internal controls, finance, and business analytics, preferably in e-commerce and retail.
  • High proficiency in stakeholder management and problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of systems and processes commonly used in e-commerce and retail environments.
  • SQL programming language and data management tool skills preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources efficiently.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with good interpersonal skills.
