Outbrain's Global Management Information Systems (MIS) team is looking for a top-notch Director of Finance & Corporate Applications who will shape the technology of the global corporate business.

This position will play a pivotal role in helping the corporate business processes grow to new levels of maturity and allow Outbrain's business to scale through strategic plans, partnerships, and a high level of execution.

A day in the life

The Director of finance & Corporate Applications is responsible for overall leadership in both technology and business processes across the domains of Financial Management, Procurement Management, and Human Capital Management.

This position plans, organizes, and directs operational activities and strategic direction of our systems and tools from selection to adoption. You will work in close partnership with our Finance, HR, and procurement stakeholders and will be responsible for the implementation of standardized business processes across the organization and ensure that they are maintained and adhered to compliance.

You will be a key driver of change across the global organization and will be accountable for supporting change management, communications, and training.

What you'll bring

  • A master collaborator – possess leadership and collaborate effectively with colleagues, managers, customers and vendors
  • 3+ years of global public company and SOX experience - Must
  • Strong financial background: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that transitioned to information systems (an advantage) OR bachelor's degree in Information systems that focused 8+ years on financial systems implementation.
  • Tech savvy and using top notch technologies in a highly integrated environment
  • Leveraging data and insights to shape your domains future state
  • Ability to be flexible and operate both strategically and tactically
  • NetSuite experience a must - implementing new modules and supporting a large group of users
  • Senior management experience and various expertise level within an MIS department
  • Experience in leading projects in areas of Finance, HR, and Procurement
  • Strong analytic capabilities
  • Ability to thinking strategically about systems and data
