Structural Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Team Lead to oversee structural engineering and Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team on multiple projects, reviewing and guiding the development of structural drawings and models, coordinating with other teams, ensuring compliance with industry codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the structural engineering & BIM team on multiple projects.
  • Review and guide the development of structural drawings, models, and construction documentation.
  • Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing teams for project integration.
  • Ensure compliance with industry codes, project specifications, and BIM execution plans.
  • Perform design checks, clash detection, and model validation.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and BIM modelers.
  • Monitor project progress, allocate resources, and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support in preparing technical reports, calculations, and documentation for approvals.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in structural engineering and BIM/construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
  • Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Tekla, AutoCAD) and structural analysis tools (ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE).
  • Experience in managing a team and delivering coordinated BIM models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
