Database Engineer Job Description

The role of a Database Engineer involves working on database-related projects to ensure data consistency and collaborating with the team to develop efficient solutions.

This position requires expertise in MySQL, proficiency in Python, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, and Datadog. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of Linux shell scripting, Docker/containers, and Kubernetes/kubectl.

AWS DevOps certification is desired but not required for this role.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing databases that meet business needs;
  • Maintaining data quality and security;
  • Developing and maintaining scripts and tools to automate database management tasks;
  • Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of database systems.
