Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Quantitative Research Associate to join our dynamic team in Asset and Wealth Management Risk. This role involves providing comprehensive risk management solutions by partnering with the business.

  • Develop and maintain risk measurement methodologies, ensuring seamless integration with both Risk and Front Office stakeholders.

In this exciting opportunity, you will contribute to research and enhancement of risk methodology, collaborating with peers and stakeholders to identify opportunities for Data Science to add value.

  • Apply knowledge of Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, and Data Science to provide insights into security and portfolio risk analytics.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering flexible, scalable solutions using firm-approved tools, as well as preparing model documentation for Model Risk Governance and Review group validation, monitoring, and backtesting.

  • Contribute to the analysis of large data sets, assisting with their onboarding using best practice data models and big data platforms.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in quantitative analysis/research, data science, Market/Credit Risk Management, or a Front Office role (or academic equivalent).

We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with strong multitasking and independent work abilities, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of statistics applied AI/ML techniques and practical problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Knowledge of asset pricing, VaR back testing techniques, and model performance testing.
