Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop prototypes using laser line profilers, displacement sensors, ultrasonic probes, and cameras
  • Collaborate with hardware experts to select and design optimal solutions
  • Create durable mounts and enclosures that withstand harsh factory conditions
  • Integrate sensors with DAQ tools, PLCs, and basic OpenCV scripts
  • Assist with pilot deployments across customer sites in India
  • Troubleshoot and rapidly resolve issues when challenges arise

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures)
  • Comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections
  • Willingness to work in high-heat/industrial environments
  • Based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments
  • Available ~20 hrs/week (flexible schedule)
