About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to join our team at Carrier. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the company's interests and establishing business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Sales & Business Development operations for Eastern Region along with Bangladesh.
  • Closely work with Consultants, Channel partners & appoint new prospective partners in the region.
  • Prospect bid opportunities, participate in the preparation of bid responses and the negotiation with potential customers.
  • Develop new customer contact leads as part of the business development activity.
  • Develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows at times to increase the visibility of the organization and potentially influence prospects.

Role Purpose:

  • Establish prospects and develop a professional relationship to understand customer needs and suggest products and/or services that meet customer needs.
  • Sales forecasting & securing orders through continuous follow-ups.
  • Support business development activities for prospects within defined customer segment to support the business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. Tech. preferred) with 7+ years of Channel Sales experience in Fire Alarm Industry.
  • Deep understanding of the assigned market & technical knowledge of Fire Alarm System.
  • Requires high level of travel within the region.
  • Can translate multiple customer / regional requirements through the various internal processes and functions.
  • Strong negotiation skills; ability to understand contractual, legal language.
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal communication as well as ability to listen to customers. Includes ability to effectively communicate with multiple functional teams.
