Senior Business Intelligence Developer Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust Power BI solutions for complex transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Power BI semantic modeling for various business intelligence tools
  • Designing and implementing data warehouse systems using Oracle, MySQL, DB2, Databricks, or Snowflake
  • Creating reports and dashboards using Power BI and other business intelligence tools
  • Collaborating with business analysts and BI leads to enhance key business metrics and improve customer experience
  • Leveraging Generative AI capabilities and broader BI best practices to streamline processes and unlock new analytical insights

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence development
  • Proficiency in Power BI and other business intelligence tools
  • Strong knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with cloud data warehousing technologies such as Databricks and Snowflake
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Power BI or another relevant business intelligence tool
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, or Python
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts and their application in business intelligence
