Job Title:

Storage Solutions Architect

Description:

We are seeking a Storage Solutions Architect to design, implement, and manage storage solutions that meet performance, scalability, and availability needs.

This role involves performing data migration, backup, and recovery operations to ensure minimal disruption and high data integrity.

The ideal candidate will monitor and optimize storage performance, analyze utilization, and conduct capacity planning to avoid shortages.

They will troubleshoot complex storage-related issues, manage incidents, and ensure high availability and performance compliance.

In addition, the Storage Solutions Architect will implement storage security measures, including access controls, encryption, and retention policies.

A strong understanding of tools such as EMC Unity, NetApp OnCommand, and scripting/orchestration tools like Python, Ansible, Splunk is required.

The successful candidate will maintain comprehensive documentation, ensure compliance with change management processes, and provide timely reporting.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams and vendors for seamless integration, upgrades, and procurement of storage technologies is also essential.

Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and multiple priorities are necessary.
