Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Mumbai.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and analytical individual to work with our clients, identifying business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for solution development and implementation.

The ideal candidate will have strong domain skills in insurance, excellent presentation skills, and experience in requirement gathering and testing.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and document business requirements through various methods such as stakeholder interviews, workshops, and surveys.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for solution development and implementation.
  • Analyze business requirements and associated impacts of changes.
  • Design and assist businesses in developing optimal target state business processes.
  • Create and execute roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation.
  • Answer questions of methodological approach with varying levels of complexity.
  • Align with other key stakeholder groups (such as Project Management & Software Engineering) to support the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing and maintaining solutions.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Business Analysis, preferably in the insurance domain.
  • Strong domain skills in insurance, including knowledge of data modeling and analytics.
  • Excellent presentation and documentation skills, with ability to create clear and concise reports.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and testing, with ability to analyze complex data and identify business requirements.
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems and propose solutions that address expressed needs.
  • Ability to facilitate negotiation and build consensus amongst competing parties, ultimately driving teams to decision.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to identify and define priorities appropriately.
  • Proven experience and passion for facilitating requirements gathering sessions and designing customer-facing interfaces (navigation, look, and feel) for complex web applications and websites.
