Senior Databricks Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Databricks Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Databricks and AWS to drive our data engineering team forward.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines using Databricks and PySpark technologies.
  • Implement and manage large-scale data solutions on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform, including S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, and Redshift services.
  • Utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools for automated deployment and testing of data workflows.
  • Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Work on data governance, security, and compliance practices, leveraging best-in-class methods when applicable.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks is required.
  • Solid experience working with AWS cloud services is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in PySpark and distributed data processing techniques.
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD processes for data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
