Senior Data Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to fill a critical position in our organization.

This role requires a strong background in building and scaling enterprise-grade data platforms, with expertise in ETL, Cloud, Data Warehousing, and Big Data ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines, cloud and big data solutions, data modeling and governance, leadership and collaboration, and performance and security.

  • Data Pipeline Design: The candidate should be able to design and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using AWS Glue, Airflow, Databricks, StreamSets, and Snowflake.
  • Cloud & Big Data Solutions: Experience in architecting scalable platforms with AWS (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Athena) and leveraging Spark, Kafka, Hive for processing is required.
  • Data Modeling & Governance: The candidate should be able to create robust schemas, ensure compliance, and enforce security best practices.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to mentor junior engineers, work with analysts and data scientists, and act as a technical architect in solution delivery is essential.
  • Performance & Security: The candidate should be able to optimize queries, implement RBAC and IAM, and ensure disaster recovery/high availability standards.

  • Platforms: AWS (Glue, Redshift, RDS, Lambda, S3), Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Kafka

  • Databases: MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hive, HBase
  • Strong experience in data modeling, governance, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in end-to-end project delivery and enterprise data integration.
