Windows IIS/Server Administration Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows IIS server administrator to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Windows IIS hosted platform.

About This Role
  • This is a great opportunity for an individual with 6+ years of experience in Windows IIS administration (8, 8.5, 10) and hands-on experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 administration.
  • You should have a good understanding of .NET based applications and be able to provide support.
  • Experience with ITIL and DevOps tools is also desirable.
Key Responsibilities
  • Configuring the infrastructure and installing applications on the Windows IIS hosted platform.
  • Manage web services, third-party SSL certificates, and general server configurations, including patch installation and web server security.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Application Development teams to ensure optimal performance of IIS-related websites.
  • Work with application teams examining deployment requirements, reviewing application documentation, and analyzing application issues and providing fixes.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and work on .NET application issues.
  • Perform in-depth technical root cause analysis for high-priority IIS and application-specific issues.
  • Provide input and insight on web services architecture and build processes.
  • Assist with application release process and automation.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex software, server, and networking issues.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in Windows IIS administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 administration.
  • Good understanding of .NET based applications.
  • ITIL and DevOps tools experience.
