Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows servers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows server 2012, 2016, and 2019
  • Patching Windows Servers using SCCM
  • Upgrading the operating system to Windows Server 2019
  • Managing SCCM, Active Directory, vSphere, IIS, SMTP, SFTP, FTP, and Server Hardware
  • Automating processes through scripting using Python and PowerShell
  • Configuring and troubleshooting DNS/DHCP/WSUS/SCCM/AV GPOs
  • Supporting day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations
  • Managing AWS resources including EC2, patching in AWS, SSM, security groups, and disk expansions
Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent industry-related experience
  • AWS certification
  • Microsoft certification
  • VMware certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Other Requirements

In addition to the above requirements, the ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Hands-on experience with VMware
  • Ability to communicate complex topics to stakeholders
  • Understanding of ITIL process and ticketing tools
  • Basic understanding and hands-on experience with underlying storage hardware
