Role Overview:

The Programme Lead is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, financial transformation projects, and governance processes across finance, projects, procurement, and commercial functions.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive execution of strategic projects and initiatives from the Chief Financial Officer's office including financial digitization and automation.
  2. Manage governance calendars, chief executive reviews, and ensure timely tracking of critical deliverables across finance verticals (Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Compliance).
  3. Act as a liaison between the Chief Financial Officer and cross-functional teams including Projects, Procurement, Human Resources, Legal, and Business Heads.
  4. Prepare and monitor business performance dashboards and highlight exceptions on financial key performance indicators, risk areas, and compliance gaps.
  5. Prepare executive presentations, management information systems packs, and board decks.
  6. Ensure alignment of finance standard operating procedures, risk registers, and programme management trackers across all functions.
  7. Track monthly cash flow, profitability improvement plans, and key business metrics with relevant owners.
  8. Support fundraising, investor reporting, board updates, and data room management for due diligence cycles.
  9. Track implementation of internal audit findings, cost optimisation initiatives, and working capital improvement plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

CA / MBA Finance with 1–3 years of experience in finance programme management, Chief Financial Officer office, or strategic initiative's role, preferably in Design & Build, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, real estate, or infrastructure companies. Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills with hands-on experience in enterprise resource planning, dashboards, and cross-functional governance are critical.
