As a seasoned Collection Specialist, you will play a key role in our team's success by leveraging your expertise in Oncology billing and AR processes to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively follow up on oncology-related claims, resolving outstanding accounts receivable with insurance companies.
  • Analyze denied or underpaid oncology claims, implementing corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up on unpaid claims, resubmissions, and appeals, maintaining accurate documentation throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including billing, coding, and clinical, to address claim discrepancies and optimize workflow.
  • Meet productivity and quality targets as per established standards, demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations at all times, maintaining the highest level of integrity.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AR calling, with a strong background in US healthcare.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Oncology billing & AR processes, with a proven track record of success.
  • Deep understanding of oncology-specific coding, modifiers, and payer guidelines, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex conversations professionally.
  • Knowledge of EOBs, remittance advice, and claims adjudication processes, ensuring seamless claim management.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meeting deadlines while maintaining high levels of productivity.
  • Proficiency with healthcare billing software and MS Office tools, enhancing workflow efficiency.
