Network Architect Job Description

As a Network Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable network architectures for enterprise and government clients. This includes designing data centre connectivity, segmentation, and secure access solutions, as well as configuring and deploying enterprise routing/switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in network architecture, including SD-WAN, data centre, OEM integration, and bid management. You should have a strong understanding of network security, including segmentation, load balancing, virtualization, and resilience strategies.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing network architectures that meet the needs of enterprise and government clients
  • Configuring and deploying enterprise routing/switching, firewalls, and SD-WAN platforms
  • Managing multiple OEM stacks and coordinating technical comparisons to finalize architecture based on budget and technical fit
  • Documenting all configurations, network topologies, and change implementation strategies in alignment with best practices
  • Supporting troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident management for live environments

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
