Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing compliance with organizational policies and procedures, identifying areas of non-compliance, and implementing corrective actions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive standardization across teams, ensuring adherence to process frameworks.
  • Conduct regular governance checks to identify operational control gaps impacting service quality, timelines, or cost.
  • Monitor and resolve governance risks, including financial, operational, or service quality issues.
  • Proactively address non-compliance or deviations related to internal stakeholders.

Risk & Non-Compliance Management:

  • Identify and flag repeated incidents and drive systemic corrective actions and policy reinforcement.
  • Track and update governance metrics through structured dashboards and trackers.

Audit Readiness & Documentation:

  • Maintain all project, partner, and compliance documentation in audit-ready format.
  • Lead internal audits across verticals and ensure timely closure of findings.

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination:

  • Liaise with teams to reinforce a governance-first mindset.
  • Work directly with partners to ensure clarity on compliance expectations and accountability.

Reporting & Escalation Management:

  • Prepare compliance reports and governance scorecards for business reviews.
  • Educate stakeholders on new or revised SOPs through workshops and refreshers.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent degree Or comparable degree in Design or related field.
  • Typically spent at least 6 to 7 years in an interior fit-out business, operating role managing a revenue generating team(s) or selling design products/services through a bunch of designers.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Structured thought process and strong analytical ability.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Possesses significant personal and professional drive to continuously improve the standing of Design and Design experience.
  • Deep understanding of interior fit-out industry, processes, market trends etc.
