Senior Workday Lead Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Workday Lead to oversee and enhance our Workday HCM platform.

  • Configure, test, and implement enhancements across Workday modules.
  • Manage and assign role-based security groups for access control.
  • Perform data uploads using EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).

The ideal candidate will serve as the primary escalation point for advanced Workday-related queries, providing Tier 2/3 support to HR and business users. Additionally, they will deliver training and documentation to end-users and HR stakeholders.

This leadership position will involve leading or supporting Workday-related projects, including module rollouts and system upgrades. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to align system capabilities with business needs.

Key responsibilities include managing integrations with other HR systems such as Kronos, providing Level 1 & 2 support for Kronos, and coordinating with IT and vendors for issue resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday system administration, with a strong focus on the HCM module.
  • Proven experience in HRIS project implementation or consulting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships across departments.
  • Workday certification(s) preferred.
