Technical Business Analyst Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team in shaping a more resilient world.

You will play a pivotal role in bridging business and IT, driving the continuous evolution and optimization of our SAP-based financial closing platform.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new features, validating critical business processes, and providing direct support to global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with global business users to understand requirements and translate them into IT solutions.
  • Act as a critical voice to challenge over-engineered solutions and promote simplicity using standard system components.
  • Develop expertise in SAP financial subledger processes.
  • Support changes and enhancements from concept through testing and go-live.
  • Contribute to quarterly financial closing operations, incident management, and documentation.
  • Educate and support the global user community.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, financial, or business field (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT.
  • Strong experience with product changes and operations (process standardization, documentation, testing).
  • Good working knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting.
  • Willingness to learn scripting for test case automation.
