Network Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Specialist to join our team. This role involves maintaining and securing our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, deploy, and maintain LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Collaborate with equipment vendors for troubleshooting and configuration standardization.
- Manage firewall configurations to ensure security and optimal performance.
- Maintain a strong understanding of LAN switching technologies, including VLANs, RSTP, ACLs, and Virtual Chassis.
- Recommend network capacity planning strategies.
- Perform proactive maintenance for disaster recovery.
- Monitor networks for security, reliability, and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least 3-6 years of overall IT experience.
- Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting FortiGate and Palo-Alto firewalls.
- Skilled in handling Cisco, Juniper, and Huawei switches.
- Familiarity with Aruba, Cisco controllers and access points.
- Experience with AWS and Zscaler Private Access.
- Sound knowledge of various network protocols and ports.
- Familiarity with IPSec, SSL VPN, IDS, and IPS.
- Prior experience in routing and switching.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
