Cybersecurity Network Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in LAN security engineering and network administration. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls, Cisco Switches, and identity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Firewalls (physical and virtual appliances) to ensure optimal security posture and compliance.
  • Implement security policies, threat prevention, and URL filtering measures to safeguard against cyber threats.
  • Maintain and optimize firewall rulesets to balance security and network performance.
  • Administer Panorama for centralized firewall management and logging.
  • Investigate incidents, troubleshoot issues, and monitor logs to ensure network uptime and availability.
  • Plan and execute firmware upgrades, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery testing to minimize downtime.
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise switching infrastructure (Cisco Catalyst 2700/3000/4000/9000 series) to ensure seamless network connectivity.
  • Implement VLANs, STP, VTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP/GLBP, QoS, and ACLs to segment networks and prioritize traffic.
  • Handle advanced L3 routing on switches (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP) to ensure efficient data transfer.
  • Develop network segmentation, redundancy, and high-availability designs to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure network solutions that meet organizational requirements.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Palo Alto Firewalls: Security profiles, NAT, VPNs, Panorama management.
  • Strong understanding of Networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP).
  • Identity & Access Management.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in enterprise network security and management, with 7+ years hands-on experience managing team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent field.
  • Knowledge of Network automation (Python, Ansible).
  • Experience in handling large Enterprise Networks.
