Assessing credit applications is key to supporting business growth. As Credit Officer, you'll evaluate financial information, monitor creditworthiness, and mitigate risk in line with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Credit Appraisal: Analyze loan/credit applications, including financial statements, credit history, and repayment capacity.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential credit risks and ensure compliance with risk management guidelines.
  • Approval & Documentation: Process credit approvals timely and accurately in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Portfolio Monitoring: Track repayments, flag early warning signals for delinquency, and ensure smooth processing of credit proposals.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on credit portfolio performance, risk exposure, and NPA trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in credit underwriting, credit analysis, or related roles in financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment, financial ratios, and lending practices.
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and decision-making ability.
