Hotel Operations Manager

This role is for an experienced candidate who has worked in front desk operations or similar roles in 4/5 star hotels, having been involved in various functions at core level so as to come on board for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support at the front desk.

  • Day-to-day management of hotel operations: Front Desk duties, check-ins/outs, billing, Answer phone calls, emails, respond to inquiries.
  • Ensuring efficient operation of front desk functions without errors, identifying if any lapses and rectifying them in real time.
  • Administrating front office functions on a daily basis, implementing continuous improvement initiatives (kaizen).
  • Filling-in duties as needed in case of absence or peak workload.
  • Overseeing all guest services, ensuring excellent communication with guests and stakeholders.
  • Answering day-to-day inquiries for short-term / long-term stays, monitoring and managing guest interactions.

The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to write professional emails, draft documents, presentations, etc. A hospitality attitude and aptitude is required, along with customer-centric approach and effective communication skills.

Able to demonstrate thorough organization and supervisory skills. A natural team player, having patience, negotiation skills, good into dispute/grievance resolution with all stakeholders, calmly handling situations, etc.

A graduate/post-graduate degree in hotel management is preferred. The candidate must have worked in 4/5 star hotels in similar roles for at least 3-4 years.
