Cardiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert care to patients with cardiac conditions, including acute myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, cardiogenic shock, and heart failure exacerbations.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing and interpreting ECGs, ABGs, bedside echocardiograms, and cardiac monitoring. You will also be required to initiate and manage ventilator support, inotropes, anticoagulation, and anti-arrhythmic drugs as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical acumen in acute cardiology and emergency management. They will also possess competence in interpreting ECGs, echoes, and cardiac biomarkers, as well as proficiency in the use of monitors, ventilators, and cardiac life support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patients with complex cardiac emergencies and assist in interventional procedures.
  • Work closely with cardiologists, intensivists, cath lab teams, and nurses to ensure high-quality care.
  • Prepare and present clinical case summaries during rounds and handovers.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • DM / DNB in Cardiology from a recognized institution.
  • 2–5 years of independent clinical experience in managing cardiac ICU or CCU.
  • BLS & ACLS certification desirable.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong clinical acumen in acute cardiology and emergency management.
  • Competence in interpreting ECGs, echoes, and cardiac biomarkers.
  • Proficiency in use of monitors, ventilators, and cardiac life support equipment.
