Cardiology Technician Role

This position involves working with cardiological equipment and patients to conduct tests, answer questions, and provide support.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conducting electrocardiogram (EKG), phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stress tests using electronic equipment.
    • Ensuring patient comfort by addressing their concerns regarding the tests.
    • Recording test results and consulting with physicians to schedule follow-up tests.
    • Assisting physicians during non-invasive cardiological procedures by monitoring patients' heart rates and alerting physicians to abnormal readings.
    • Maintaining cardiological equipment and supplies through daily cleanings and adjustments.
    • Managing supply inventory levels and restocking the storeroom accordingly.
    • Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and reporting issues to superiors.
    • Staying current with cardiological developments through conference attendance and research participation.
  • Requirements:
    • Proficiency in conducting various cardiological tests.
