At the forefront of e-commerce innovation, we are seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Strategist

To shape the future of online marketplaces, you will oversee the development and launch of a cutting-edge platform that connects buyers and sellers across Europe. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise in marketplace operations and e-commerce trends to the table, driving business growth and scalability.

  • Lead the end-to-end development, launch, and optimization of the e-commerce platform.
  • Collaborate with programmers, designers, and stakeholders to define project requirements, workflows, and priorities.
  • Translate business needs into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Provide insights into marketplace structure, features, and best practices to enhance performance, usability, and monetization.
  • Stay informed on e-commerce and e-shop trends, technologies, and applications, applying them to strengthen platform strategy.
  • Manage production schedules and KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
  • Anticipate risks, troubleshoot issues, and keep leadership informed of progress.
  • Drive platform optimization post-launch to ensure scalability and long-term success.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of e-shop business trends, applications, and industry best practices.
  • Solid understanding of online marketplace business models (vendor onboarding, payments, logistics, user acquisition).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on experience with agile/scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with European or international marketplace operations.
  • Familiarity with relevant e-commerce technologies and platforms.
