Job Title: Digital Marketplace Strategist

As a seasoned professional in e-commerce and marketplace development, we're seeking a talented individual to take ownership of our platform's growth and success. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of online marketplace business models, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance user experience, drive sales, and increase customer engagement.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders to define requirements, workflows, and priorities.
• Translate business needs into actionable tasks for the development team.
• Provide insights into marketplace trends, features, and best practices to improve performance, usability, and monetization.
• Stay informed on e-commerce trends, technologies, and applications, applying them to strengthen platform strategy.
• Manage production schedules, KPIs, and risk management to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive post-launch optimization to ensure scalability and long-term success.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of e-shop business trends, applications, and industry best practices.
• Solid understanding of online marketplace business models (vendor onboarding, payments, logistics, user acquisition).
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with agile/scrum methodologies and project management tools.
• Availability to work from our office 2–3 times per week.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with European or international marketplace operations.
• Familiarity with payment gateways, fulfillment systems, and compliance requirements.
• Previous startup or scale-up experience.
