Role Summary:

We seek a skilled software tester with experience in quality assurance practices and hands-on testing of enterprise-level applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test Planning & Documentation:
    • Develop comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and maintain clear documentation for all test processes and outcomes.
    • Ensure thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements through thorough analysis.
  • Test Execution:
    • Conduct manual and automated testing including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
    • Accurately log test results and report bugs or issues with precision to enable prompt resolution.
  • Defect Management:
    • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA or similar platforms.
    • Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
    • Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders through regular updates.
  • Automation & Tools:
    • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks to enhance testing efficiency.
    • Support ongoing improvement of the test automation framework and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices:
    • Adhere to QA standards and best practices to ensure high-quality testing outcomes.
    • Contribute ideas for improving testing efficiency and product quality through continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit) and familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of Java or similar programming languages.
  • Experience with Blue Polaris or enterprise-grade applications.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
