We are seeking an accomplished Firewall Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing technology infrastructure within our firm.
Your focus will be on developing and enhancing both client and internal facing applications within our company, as well as providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for us to drive strategic business growth.
Our Information Technology Security team assists us in designing and creating sustainable security solutions to provide foundational capabilities and operational discipline through a focus on enterprise requirements and prioritization.

Responsibilities- Demonstrate thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team player/individual contributor.
- Show thorough understanding and work exposure in Networking up to L2 Level.
- Display knowledge and understanding of Firewalls, both physical and virtual, and its functioning up to L2 level.
- Show work exposure in any vendor firewalls.
- Show thorough knowledge of VLAN, VLSM, Routes and basic level understanding of different routing protocols.
- Mandatory skill sets:
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Stateful firewalls and its numerous functions like ACLs, Types of Firewalls, Spoofing, Digital Signatures etc.
- Show understanding of Zone based firewalls like Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Palo Alto preferred.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Application Layer filtering.
- Show exposure with application layer Firewalls.
- Show thorough understanding of Encryption, NAT, PAT and its usages in an enterprise environment.
- Show knowledge and exposure of configuring an IPSec Tunnel and its associated parameters.
- Preferred skill sets:
- Show basic understanding and knowledge of Information Cyber Security and its best practices.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of Service ports, FW ports, and associated vulnerabilities from a Cyber security POV.
- Show knowledge and understanding of RISK.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of MAC and OS vulnerabilities.
- Show knowledge of IDS and IPS.
- Show basic understanding of Endpoint Security, Pen-testing, Scans, and ways of vulnerability mitigations.
- 2 years of experience in firewall operation, firewall review, firewall audit.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology.
- Desired certifications: CCNA, RS, CCNA Security, CCSK, CompTIA Security, any other FW Vendor Certifications.
