About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our purchasing operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials while optimizing logistics costs and improving efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in procurement activities in the manufacturing industry, with expertise in import and export activities, vendor management, and inventory management systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring inventory levels at warehouses by tracking stock movements, identifying slow-moving items, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversighting purchase vendor development through effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
  • Developing strategies for supply chain management to optimize logistics costs and improve efficiency.
  • Ensuring efficient store operations by managing material receipt, storage, and dispatch processes.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to finished goods, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
  • Preparing and maintaining accurate purchasing records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • A degree with 4 to 6 years experience in procurement activities in the manufacturing industry and dealing with import and export activities.
  • In-depth knowledge of Purchase operations, strategies, and best practices.
  • Negotiation techniques.
  • Knowledge of vendor management and inventory management systems.
  • An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and systems (like SAP, Oracle, ERP).
  • Relevant certification in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English language.
