We're seeking a skilled Senior Professional Services Consultant/Engineer to join our team. As an integral member of our Network Security Professional Services India & SAARC team, you'll contribute to and occasionally lead engagements centered on Next-Generation technologies at customer sites.

This highly technical, hands-on position requires the ability to manage, design, and deploy intricate projects. You'll work closely with our customers and partner with their technical teams to deliver exceptional results.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and delivering custom security policies and application signatures for unique client environments
  • Consulting and guiding customers on security standard best practices methodologies
  • Analyzing logs and events from the solution and supplying threat analysis reports
  • Working proactively with our Technical Assistance Center to troubleshoot and diagnose cases as escalations arise
  • Maintaining the implemented solution and providing mentorship on code upgrades, changes to the platform, and new technology developments
  • Collaborating with sales account teams to formulate a technical strategy to address customer business needs

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A 4-Year Engineering Degree / BS in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent education/training/experience
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in document creation
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with firewall and IDS/IPS solutions in large environments
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the installation, configuration, and operation of Palo Alto Networks products
  • Extensive knowledge of various security threats
  • A strong understanding of Internet protocols and applications
  • Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to conduct design meetings
