We're seeking a skilled Staff Data Engineer to join our global community of thousands of users who rely on our applications every day. From idea to distribution, our team builds the applications and services that power the content supply chain. We need someone who can closely work with business stakeholders to understand data and reporting requirements, design reports and dashboards from various sources like Snowflake, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and build visually appealing interfaces to present complex data in an understandable manner.

As a key member of our development team, you'll collaborate with other developers and media workflow specialists to create robust solutions. You'll also have the opportunity to think creatively, work on challenging projects, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing reports and dashboards using BI tools like Tableau, Looker, and Power BI
  • Building data models and ETL processes to extract insights from various sources
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop effective solutions
  • Providing expert-level support to internal stakeholders, resolving production issues, and continuously improving our systems

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience with data modeling concepts, and proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation. You'll also be comfortable working in a distributed Agile environment, collaborating with others to build robust solutions.
