Supply Chain Operations Expert

About Our Organization:

We are a leading company focused on addressing social issues related to energy, environment, and resources through the production of lithium-ion battery products.

We are setting up India's first Giga plant in Bengaluru to manufacture Lithium Ion Cells. We are looking for an NMC Cell design and development expert to join our Cell R&D organization and help us achieve our goal.

Job Description
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, assembly materials, personal protective equipment, and consumables in the shopfloor as per production plan
  • Issue materials from warehouses to production using various material handling equipment such as robots, automated guided vehicles, forklifts, conveyor belts, etc.
  • Allocate manpower for tasks like kitting, de-palletizing, palletising, packing, material issuance, internal scrap movement, etc.
  • Ensure zero stock variance through stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance analysis
  • Move hazardous and non-hazardous scrap to designated areas
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver right materials to production at the right time and in the right place
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to avoid production stoppages due to material unavailability
  • Train manpower to use related equipment effectively
