Job Description:

We are seeking a Costing and Sourcing Expert for Footwear to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective sourcing and production of footwear. This involves collaborating with suppliers, internal teams, and cross-functional departments to develop accurate costing for footwear products.

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and analyze costs for footwear products, including material, labor, production, and logistics costs.
  • Work closely with suppliers to gather cost inputs, validate quotes, and negotiate costs for materials and production.
  • Support the development and implementation of cost negotiation strategies to achieve target margins.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and sourcing teams to understand product specifications, material requirements, and design details.
  • Facilitate the sourcing of materials and components to meet both design specifications and cost objectives.
  • Continuously analyze costs across different suppliers and regions to identify cost-effective sourcing options.
  • Conduct market research on footwear costing trends, raw material price fluctuations, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated with cost trends, competitive pricing, and economic factors impacting footwear production costs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, or procurement, preferably in the footwear or apparel industry.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and costing tools.
  • Understanding of footwear materials, manufacturing processes, and cost components.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Salary Estimate: ₹8,00,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum
