Job Opportunity: Laboratory Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Laboratory Operations Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily laboratory activities, ensuring accurate results, and addressing technical challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing of soil, water, and product biodegradation studies (marine/soil/compost/anaerobic)
  • Manage daily lab operations to guarantee precise analysis
  • Respond to technical issues arising from routine analysis and consult with the Head of Lab on critical matters
  • Coordinate and schedule lab assignments for Analysts/Lab Technicians
  • Receive, compile, and verify data resulting from lab testing and maintain accurate records
  • Analyze and compile quality control sample results to ensure accuracy and operating efficiency
  • Maintain training of laboratory analysts and oversee lab equipment and supply inventory
  • Follow up and close out on NCRs, investigative preventative action, and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

A Master's degree in Micro/Biochem/Biotech is required, along with 5-7 years of experience in the service industry.
