Job Overview">

Primary Function: As a Quality Control Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-line checks to monitor production and ensure all products meet predefined quality parameters.
  • Perform real-time inspections of products during various stages of production to identify any defects or deviations.
  • Discuss with production staff to immediately address and correct any identified issues.
  • Maintain detailed logs of on-line checks, including data on any defects, corrections made, and overall product quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards, focusing on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the production area.
  • Monitor employee adherence to GMP protocols, including proper use of protective gear, hand hygiene, and contamination prevention practices.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or potential risks observed during GMP checks.
  • Participate in training sessions to reinforce GMP guidelines and ensure all staff are up-to-date on best practices.
  • Carry out thorough inspections of finished goods to verify that they meet all quality, safety, and customer specifications before shipment.
  • Ensure that packaging and labeling are accurate and meet the company's branding and regulatory requirements.
  • Inspect and evaluate incoming raw materials against quality standards and purchase specifications before they are accepted for production.
  • Document the quality of incoming materials, including any issues detected, and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.
  • Oversee the proper storage of raw materials to prevent contamination or degradation, ensuring that storage conditions meet the required standards.
  • Inspect vehicles used for transporting raw materials and finished goods to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and suitable for the safe transport of food products.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in a scientific discipline such as chemistry, biology, or food technology.
  • Proven experience in quality control or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and HACCP principles.
  • Certification in a relevant quality control standard.
