Job Summary The Purchase Manager is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials packaging and other goods necessary for the FMCG production and distribution processes This role involves vendor management cost control and ensuring timely delivery of quality products to maintain seamless operations and inventory levels Key Responsibilities Procurement Planning Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production and distribution Vendor Management Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to ensure high-quality materials at competitive prices Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships Cost Optimization Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Collaborate with warehouse and inventory teams to manage procurement schedules and avoid overstocking or stockouts Work closely with QA QC teams to ensure all purchased goods meet company standards and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and inventory and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations Liaise with production logistics and finance departments to streamline procurement processes and support operational goals Assess risks related to supply disruptions and develop contingency plans Qualifications and Skills Inventory Management Quality Assurance Compliance Documentation Coordination with Internal Teams Risk Management Proven experience in procurement within the FMCG sector Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent analytical and organizational abilities Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques Understanding of FMCG production processes and market dynamics KPIs Key Performance Indicators Procurement cost savings Supplier performance quality delivery timelines Inventory turnover ratio Purchase order cycle time Compliance with procurement policies Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
