Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Research Strategist to drive data-driven decision making across our tech R&D function.

About the Role

In this pivotal position, you will leverage your expertise in research and operations analysis to bring an outside-in perspective through continuous research across primary and secondary sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable research workflows across distributed teams, fostering seamless collaboration and maximizing efficiency.
  • Define research strategies in partnership with other research teams within the organization, driving synergies and aligning with business objectives.
  • Establish and maintain research standards, ensuring documentation, reproducibility, and quality assurance practices that meet the highest standards.
  • Build systems to integrate primary (experimental) and secondary (market, academic) research into decision-making processes, providing actionable insights for product and engineering goals.
  • Ensure competitive scans, landscape reviews, and benchmarking are integral components of the research lifecycle, empowering informed business decisions.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging research to inform internal direction-setting, positioning the organization for success.
  • Develop and track R&D dashboards and KPIs, providing real-time visibility into key performance indicators.
  • Lead planning, review, and retrospective cadences, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain centralized research knowledge repositories, facilitating easy access to critical information.
  • Partner with R&D leadership to align research with strategic business goals, driving meaningful outcomes.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess 8-12 years of experience working in R&D teams as a research analyst or manager, with expertise in GenAI, AI/ML, and conventional engineering teams. You should be well-versed in research methodologies and analytics tools, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality research outcomes.
