Job Description

Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud administration, infrastructure as code (IaC) development, and DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy cloud infrastructure components, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and related services.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of GCP resources.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for efficient application deployment and release management.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to ensure high availability and reliability of GCP services.
  • Manage container infrastructure (GKE) and develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software delivery using Git and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 6 to 9 years of experience in cloud administration, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proven expertise in managing GCP infrastructure components, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and related services.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure as code (IaC) development using Terraform, with a strong understanding of best practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency in GitLab for source code management, CI/CD automation, and version control.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in a production environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect or similar.
